95% chance of getting the house

I just talked to our Realtor who said she the Real Estate Agent called her and said that he is 95% sure we are going to get the house! YAY!

I.AM.SO.EXCITED!!

They took it off the market and we are the only offer! Bank of America is taking longer than we thought but we should hear within 3-4 weeks from now. OMG, I can't hold my excitement in....This would be amazing!!!

We love this house...its perfect for us. I can't even imagine the day we own our own home!

And I will leave you with a picture of the front of the house....

It's starting to warm up

And I absolutely love it! It's been in the mid 70's for about a week and it's great! I wish it would stay this temp. for a while but I know it's only going to get hotter!

This past weekend we went to Palm Desert to visit some family. We had a great time and I just LOVED that area. Talk about some great homes and beautiful landscaping!

My awesome hubby got me a massage at Dolce for Valentine's Day. I AM SOOOOOOOOO excited about this! I haven't had a massage for a really long time!

As I wrote in a previous post, we put an offer in on a house in East Mesa. Well, we didn't get that house because the bank came back to us with a counter offer of $11K over the asking price so we walked.

Well, we found a BETTER house in a nicer area and closer to where we work. We put an offer in a week ago. We LOVE this house and are really hoping we get it! We should hear within 2 more weeks, we are hoping, at least! If they accept it, we could be home owners within the next 2 months! YAY!

No baby updates yet either.....hopefully that'll happen within the next few months too! I've started to relax a little about it...I'm just going to let the Lord take charge of the situation.

House Hunting-Round 1

Well, last night we had our very 1st house hunting experience. It was interesting, to say the least. lol

We went in a less desirable area to see what it had to offer. (South Mountain)

The 1st house we went to was gorgeous...bought in 2006 for $255K...4 bed, 2.5 bath. We think it was a model home because the owner has not lived in it...they could have been renting it too.
The kitchen was F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S!!! I was in love....BUT, there was not pantry. We think they converted the pantry to a half bath. And the living room was super small, I don't even think our furniture would fit in it.

Had a pool that was also in great condition!!

The worst part about it, was that it was in the GHETTO!!!! Sorry to say it, but it was a horrible area but the houses were gorgeous...sad sad!!

2nd house was a shit hole....we quickly left that one...no need to explain what it was like either.

3rd house (we only got to see 3 since it got dark and all these foreclosures don't have power)....HUGE!!!! 2573 square footage....are you kidding me?

This will shock you...in 2006, it sold for $412K!!! Yes, you read that right....and now it's goign for $149,900!!! WOW!!!

So, this house was nice but it would have needed a few repairs. The carpet was stained, and there was carpet going up the stairwell and all upstairs. We don't want to put a lot of cash into the house right away.

The pool was black so that would have needed an acid wash which can cost up to $5K...no thanks!

But the back yard was HUGE...the master bedroom, bathroom, and CLOSET were HUGE!!!

I loved the winding stairwell....the living room was huge...it was just a huge house and I think it was too big for us!

It was also in a gated community which we did like but again, it was surrounded by a not so nice area.........

So, the search continues on Sunday in Chandler and Gilbert!! Can't wait...we're going to get 15-20 houses in that day and hopefully find a few we'd like to put offers on!!! YAAAY!!!

Getting PRE-APPROVED!!!

OMG, I am sooooooooooo excited!

I cannot believe we are finally going to buy a house. I never thought this was going to happen.

I'm 28 years old, no kids (YET) and I'm STOKED!!!! That means, I get to do a nursery when I do finally get pregnant. This is amazing! Yes, I know, little things make me happy but honestly, I didn't think buying a home in the Phoenix area was going to happen for a really long time from now.

So, I just talked to our Lender and she's doing the pre-approval stuff and sending us paperwork tomorrow. I'm hoping for at least $180K approval but we don't plan to spend that much.

I also did a 30 min workout today and I plan to do another one tomorrow! Trying to get back into working out to get my body ready for a baby whenever He grants us one.

Bad blogger

Wow, I've been a bad blogger lately!

I haven't done it since Dec. 19th! haha Oops!

Well, it's been a crazy year so far!

We just got back from NY for a friends wedding. The weather wasn't too bad and I got to see a lot of family and friends, it was really nice!

I can't wait to go back when the weather is WARMER! lol

We'll be staying home for a while with some unexpected expenses coming up and HOUSE HUNTING!!

We just need to get pre-approved first....man, I'm not looking forward to this already!

Hopefully we can sign a contract by April 20th so we can get the tax credit that they extended until then! That would be GREAT!! Plus our lease is up at the end of May. Wow, I can't believe it's almost been a year since we moved here!

I promise I'll try to a better blogger!!!

Waiting isn't easy....

especially when you're waiting to find out if you're pregnant.

I bought OPK's in hopes of that helping us to get pregnant. We used them this month and well....now, I'm not just waiting. It's too early to test and it's KILLING ME! I just want to know!

I really want to know by Christmas but that might even be too early, we'll see. I'll def. keep you updated. And please cross your fingers for us! :-)

I've been bad...

At blogging lately. I just haven't had the time to sit down and write nor have I had much to say.

1st, I can't blieve it's December and only 20 days until Christmas. What happened to October and November?

Thanksgiving was great. My Dad came into town, alone, which was really nice. I think it was good for him to see where we live. He loved it here and went home to 30 degrees and snow on the ground...he wasn't happy nor do I blame him.

We also had Chris's parents, sister and her boyfriend come into town as well. Lots of family and good times!
Here we all are at the Sandbar having a great time!

About 5 days ago or so, we got our Christmas tree. She's beautiful and I love her! She smells delicious and I'm so very happy we made room for her. I would have been a very sad 28 year old if we didn't get a tree.

Today I went shopping with Chris's cousin's wife and we had a great time. We went to Scottsdale and were suppose to be Christmas shopping but mostly bought stuff for ourselves. HAHA Oops! That's ok though, right?!

And last but not least....3rd month of TTC and I bought Ovulation Predictor Kits to see if that can help us pinpoint exactly when I'm ovulating since we apparently don't know. haha

I hope that in a month, I will have some great news to post! That's really all I want for Christmas!
