No flag football this weekend

So, as most of you know, I'm on a Flag Football team at work. It's a lot of fun and we're actually good. We just finished the "regular" season and we are the #1 seed which means this week, we have a bye! YAY! Then it's serious time...playoffs. They are single elimination so we have to win them all so we can go to the Championship game which is usually played at the AZ Cardinals practice field! Now, that would be awesome!!

Without flag football, I feel like I have a busy weekend a head of me.

Tonight, we are meeting our friend and Financial Planner, Jon, for dinner and to help me fill out all my paperwork so I can switch my retirement from my old job to a new retirement. I really need to start putting money back into it. It's starting to scare me a little bit. haha Yes, you are probably laughing...I'm only 28 and yes, that's young but it's not THAT young. I want to make sure we have way more than enough money when we want to retire so we don't have to drag it on forever.

Then tomorrow, Chris has to work until 2:30 (which I really hate. I can't wait for that schedule to get changed) but then we might go see The Blind Side.

Sunday we are planning on going to the FBR or Waste Management PGA (?) Golf Tournament. I just heard it may rain that day. What the heck is up with the rain lately? I really hate it!

Oh, and the girls across the hall in our apt. complex asked me to be on the bowling league on Sunday nights so I have that at 6pm also. I'm really excited about this....I LOVE to bowl! I just don't know these girls very well so it'll be a little weird at first.

Why does CNN feel compelled to show the results of an even that has NOT been aired yet??? That doesn't make any sense to me!

Why not show the result the NEXT morning??

What are your thoughts? Do you know why they do this?

It ruined my experience last night with the women's downhill skiing. If I didn't know the winner already, I would have been FREAKING out for the US woman that won (can't think of her name right now). But since I knew she won, I wasn't on edge while watching.....

Very disappointing.......

95% chance of getting the house

I just talked to our Realtor who said she the Real Estate Agent called her and said that he is 95% sure we are going to get the house! YAY!

I.AM.SO.EXCITED!!

They took it off the market and we are the only offer! Bank of America is taking longer than we thought but we should hear within 3-4 weeks from now. OMG, I can't hold my excitement in....This would be amazing!!!

We love this house...its perfect for us. I can't even imagine the day we own our own home!

It's starting to warm up

And I absolutely love it! It's been in the mid 70's for about a week and it's great! I wish it would stay this temp. for a while but I know it's only going to get hotter!

This past weekend we went to Palm Desert to visit some family. We had a great time and I just LOVED that area. Talk about some great homes and beautiful landscaping!

My awesome hubby got me a massage at Dolce for Valentine's Day. I AM SOOOOOOOOO excited about this! I haven't had a massage for a really long time!

As I wrote in a previous post, we put an offer in on a house in East Mesa. Well, we didn't get that house because the bank came back to us with a counter offer of $11K over the asking price so we walked.

Well, we found a BETTER house in a nicer area and closer to where we work. We put an offer in a week ago. We LOVE this house and are really hoping we get it! We should hear within 2 more weeks, we are hoping, at least! If they accept it, we could be home owners within the next 2 months! YAY!

No baby updates yet either.....hopefully that'll happen within the next few months too! I've started to relax a little about it...I'm just going to let the Lord take charge of the situation.
