I left the house at 4:30am to take my Mom to the airport. :-( I came home to go back to bed for a little while and of course, I couldn't fall back asleep!
I went to work at 7 and by 7:30am, I was fighting to keep my eyes open....not good! lol
I made it through the day and then had to go give blood. What was I thinking you may ask? Well, I figured it'd be the best day since we have my In-laws coming into town tomorrow through Sunday.
This month is just absurd with how busy we are!
Anyways, I always feel SO good after I donate blood (not physically but emotionally). I wish I knew who my blood went to and I hope, IF, someday I need it, it will be there for me! It only takes 8 minutes from when the needle goes in to when it comes out. EIGHT MINUTES!!!!
After my 1st donation, I said I'd never do it again because it hurt but then thought "I'd much rather be in that position than the person on the other end" and vowed to keep giving blood!
